Christmas table runners
A runner is the least work you can do to a Christmas table for the most visible result. Ours come in 16" × 72" and 16" × 90", in designs made for a Christmas table rather than a generic winter one.
Which length
Measure the table and add about twelve inches for a six-inch drop at each end. A table seating six usually takes the 72"; a table seating eight or more takes the 90".
Order early
Every runner is printed to order, which takes three to five business days before it ships. For a table that has to be ready on the twenty-fourth, order in the first week of December.
Frequently asked questions
What size Christmas table runner do I need?
Measure the table and add 12 to 24 inches so the runner drops six to twelve inches at each end. The 72″ suits a table seating four to six; the 90″ suits a longer table or a table that gets extended for the day. A Christmas table is usually crowded with candles and platters, so the shorter drop often looks calmer.
When should I order?
Printed to order, three to five business days before it ships. Ordering in the first week of December leaves comfortable room for a table that has to be ready on the twenty-fourth.
How do I get candle wax out afterwards?
Let it set hard, lift off what you can with a blunt edge, then press with a warm iron through a sheet of paper towel so the paper draws the rest out. Wash cold afterwards on a gentle cycle.
