Why start with napkins?

They are the least expensive piece to swap seasonally and they do not require replacing anything else. A set of autumn napkins over an existing runner changes the table for a fraction of what a full set costs.

Which size for a Thanksgiving table?

The 22″ dinner size. It is a long meal with a lot of food on the table, and a 10″ cocktail napkin will not cover a lap.

Will autumn colors fade in the wash?

No. The color is printed direct to fabric so it sits in the weave rather than on top of it. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, no bleach, line dry.
