Fall table runners

Autumn is the longest decorating season of the year — September through to the end of November, with Thanksgiving in the middle of it. A runner carries that whole stretch without needing to be swapped.

Two lengths, 72" and 90". Cotton twill for a softer, more classic read, polyester for stronger colour.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a fall runner stay on the table?

Longer than any other seasonal piece — September through to the end of November, with Thanksgiving in the middle. That is three months of use, which makes it the best value of the seasonal linens.

What length do I need?

Add 12 to 24 inches to your table length so the runner drops six to twelve inches each end. The 72″ covers most tables seating four to six; take the 90″ if the table gets extended for Thanksgiving.

What colours work for autumn?

Terracotta, rust, ochre, olive and warm brown. Those read as autumn without any harvest iconography, which is what lets the runner stay out past the last week of November.
