Is the gold metallic?
No — warm gold and ochre in the print itself. Digital printing on cotton cannot produce a metallic finish, and a mat that reflects light tends to fight the glassware anyway.
What does it suit?
Dark wood, cream crockery and candlelight. Ochre against a pale table in flat daylight can read as muddy; against walnut or oak in the evening it does exactly what gold is meant to do.
