Material

100% cotton twill

Specially spun fibers make a smooth, strong cloth that takes a sharp fold. Hemmed all the way round.

Direct-to-fabric print

The color goes into the weave rather than sitting on top, so the napkin still feels like plain cotton and the print is fade-resistant. Printed on one side.

Care instructions

Machine wash cold (max 30°C or 90°F), gentle cycle, mild detergent. Do not bleach. Line dry.

Skip the fabric softener — it coats the fibers, and a napkin that repels water is no use at the table.

FAQ

How big are cocktail and dinner napkins?

The cocktail napkin is 10″ × 10″ (25.4 cm) and the dinner napkin is 22″ × 22″ (55.9 cm). The 10″ is the one you hold with a glass; the 22″ is the one that sits across a lap. For a wedding or a long table, the 22″ is the standard choice.

What is the difference between a cocktail napkin and a dinner napkin?

Size and moment, not material. Both are the same 100% cotton twill with the same print. Cocktail napkins come out for drinks and small plates, dinner napkins for a seated meal. Many people buy some of each from the same design.

How do I fold cloth napkins?

Cotton twill holds a crease well, so most folds work without starch. A simple rectangle under the fork suits a laid table, a loose roll in a ring suits a buffet. Press the napkin while slightly damp for the sharpest edge.

Are these napkins reusable?

Yes. They are cloth napkins made to be washed and used again, not paper. The direct-to-fabric print goes into the weave rather than sitting on the surface, so the design survives repeated washing.
